If you are on Chapter 8-1 or higher of [[Chains of Promathia]], you can enter a section of Northern [[Al'Taieu]] through this portal. If you are on [[Call of the Void]] or [[Both Paths Taken]], it gives the option to go to [[Empyreal Paradox]] regardless of whether you've completed up to Chains of Promathia 8-1. An additional one inside [[Empyreal Paradox]] will take you back to a chosen crag if you're on or past those missions.
