**if you are doing the fight prior to the level 70 cap, make sure you have whatever highest [[Elemental Magic]] spell's corresponding staff; [[Water Staff]] at 67+ or if your nuts [[Earth Staff]] at 66. I would wait until at least 67 for [[Water III]]. You do not need them but it will make the fight very very simple. So if you have the gil might as well get them. They are a great tool for [[RDM]] anyways.
*Do your best to have [[Elemental Magic]] and [[Enfeebling Magic]] capped for your level.
*Having a few items such as [[Yagudo Drink|Yagudo Drinks]], [[Hi-Ether|Hi-Ether's]] and [[Hi-Potion|Hi-Potion's]]
*Buy some food for the fight. [[Melon Pie]] is a decent food. more [[MP]] and [[INT]]
**Items will be used as needed. If gil is not a big deal feel free to use them anytime. Yag drinks can be used right away to speed up MP durring the debuff / resting phase. Hi-Ethers can be used as well as you like as maat sleeps.
