== Walkthrough ==
*Talk to [[Oggbi]] in [[Port Bastok]] as a [[Monk]] level 71 minimum with 250 [[Hand-to-Hand]] skill minimum (merit bonuses do not count for beginning the quest) to obtain the [[Knuckles of Trials]] and a {{KeyItem}} [[Weapon Training Guide]].
**You cannot begin this quest if you have any other quest involving the {{KeyItem}} [[Weapon Training Guide]] active.
**You must be level 71 minimum to begin the quest, but after beginning the quest, deleveling to 70 does not affect the quest progress in any way.
*Perform weapon skills with the [[Knuckles of Trials]] until the latent effect disappears.
**You must accumulate 300 [[Weapon Skill Points]] on experience-yielding monsters.
***Weapon Skills performed while under [[Level Sync]] do count. Your latent effect may disappear when level sync is applied due to equipment adjustment. Remove sync to ensure the weapon is broken.
**You receive 1 point for opening/soloing a weapon skill, 2 points for closing a Lv.1 skillchain, 3 points for closing a Lv.2 skillchain, and 5 points for closing a level 3 skillchain.
***Wheeling Thrust (DRG, Spear)--> Dragon's Kick (H2H) Light Skillchain.
**To check to see if the latent effect has disappeared, simply check your equipment page for the elemental resistance bonuses, and if you do not have the bonus stats anymore, you are done.
*Once you no longer receive the latent effect bonus, head back to [[Port Bastok]] and trade the [[Knuckles of Trials]] back to [[Oggbi]], who takes the weapon from you and gives you a {{KeyItem}} [[Map to the Annals of Truth]], telling you to head to [[Bostaunieux Oubliette]].
*Once in [[Bostaunieux Oubliette]], follow the path south, then turn west into a long corridor. Go through the ''Wooden Door'' at the end of the corridor and talk to the NPC there to access the trap door, which takes you to the lower level with monsters.
*Make your way to the small room at (I-8) on the third map, clear the room of leeches, rest up, and click the [[???]] in the center of the room to spawn the NM warrior skeleton [[Bodach]].
**You can spawn [[Bodach]] on any job.
**[[Bodach]] uses [[Blood Saber]], [[Hell Slash]], and [[Horror Cloud]]; possesses very high HP and higher-than-average evasion.
*Once the NM is dead, reexamine the ??? to obtain the {{KeyItem}} [[Annals of Truth]].
*Return to Oggbi for your reward.
