Iridescence is a weather-releated gear statistic found exclusively on [[Iridal Staff]](+5%) and [[Chatoyant Staff]](+10%). |

Name given by SE to the "hidden effect" of the elemental staves. It increases the effects that weather bonuses give by +10%; there is a penalty to magic aligned with the opposite weather of -10%. This is applied independent of the normal weather bonus, greatly increasing your chances of a 10% bonus and allowing for a 20% bonus. If paired with Elemental Obis the bonus of both effects is forced, creating a 20% bonus under the correct weather. |

Iridescence is a weather-releated gear statistic found exclusively on Iridal Staff(+5%) and Chatoyant Staff(+10%).
- "Iridescence" increases the potency bonus from weather effects (for better if weather matches, or for worse if weather is opposed).
- Under this effect, at a potency of 5%, the single weather potency bonus becomes 15% and the double weather bonus becomes 30%.
- Elemental Obis will force the combined Iridescence/Weather proc.
- Iridescence has no effect on day potency bonus/procs.
