Guide

The fight takes place in Waughroon Shrine. If this is not your first Maat fight, you must walk to the BC; Maat will not teleport you.

• I went THF/BLM to Escape and Warp.
  • Teleport-Dem > Gusgen Mines > Oldton Movalpolos > Escape > North Gustaberg > Palborough Mines > Waughroon Shrine

Gear, Items, and Skills

• I had 4/5 Homam Corazza Set (missing body), 3/5 Hecatomb Harness Set (the 3 Sky pieces), and a pretty basic evasion set.
• I ate carbonara but don't think I needed it.
  • My accuracy was about 82% according to the parse.
• I used Sirocco Kukri for the low delay and the wind damage.
• All my skills are 75 capped.
• I did not use any medicines.

The Fight

I was level 75. It was easy.

• Maat had a slow attack speed. I toggled between my max TP and evasion TP sets; timing it so I was in the evasion set during his attack round. I was not 100% successful but I think it helped.
  • I was at about 50% health when Maat ended the fight.
  • Parse shows I did 1919 damage when Maat ended the fight.
• I did not use Perfect Dodge.
