Walkthrough
- Talk to Despachiaire at (K-10
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">) of the top floor of Tavnazian Safehold, to get the Letter from Shikaree X
- The quest will not be flagged in your current quests. It will only appear in your completed quests if you are victorious.
- This quest can be initiated after the player has completed the battlefield in the mission Dawn.
- Travel to Boneyard Gully and enter the Battlefield:
- Time limit 30 minutes for 6 characters without Level Restriction, so buffs are not removed and experience points will be lost upon knock out. Error creating thumbnail: File missing
- The Letter from Shikaree X is lost upon entry. In case of a defeat, Despachiaire will hand over a new one.
- The item can only be acquired once per week (Conquest Tally) and it does not matter if a character is still holding the item from the week before, it is still possible to receive another one during the week after the old one is used.
- Those who have previously cleared this battle can enter the battlefield to help without any key item, but will not receive any reward.
Battle
- The enemies should be familiar... from Promathia Mission 5-3-2:
- Shikaree X: BST/NIN with two Daggers, ~4000 HP
- Shikaree X's Rabbit: ~4500 HP
- If Shikaree X's Rabbit is defeated before Shikaree X, it will be summoned again.
- Shikaree Y: DRK/MNK with Scythe, ~4000 HP
- As in Promathia Mission 5-3-2, they have extremely high TP gain, sometimes beginning a WS one second after their last one.
- They also share hate somewhat, and try to create Skillchains with each other.
- X and Y can be slept only with Elemental Seal. Also, Sleep only lasts 30 seconds, Sleep II about 35.
- Unlike in the mission, Shikaree X's Rabbit can not be slept. However, it is susceptible to Bind and Gravity.
- Fight Strategy suggestion: Shikaree Y -> Shikaree X -> Shikaree X's Rabbit
