The Chocobo Stables are places where you can rent a chocobo for riding and in some special locations raise your own chocobo.

Cities
There is a stable in each of the major cities and some even have multiple stables (Jeuno).

- Windurst Woods
- Bastok Mines
- Lower Jeuno
- Upper Jeuno
- Port Jeuno
- Kazham
- Rabao
- Norg
- Al Zahbi (out of era)
Other locations
There are nine "Chocogals" who offer rental-only services and they are located at the following locations:
- Konschtat Highlands - Plaiaude (J-6)
- Tahrongi Canyon - Pucotte (G-10)
- La Theine Plateau - Coumaine (K-8)
- Eastern Altepa Desert - Eulaclaire (G-7)
- Yhoator Jungle - Paurelde (F-9)
- Wajaom Woodlands - Watisa (G-8)(out of era)
