Walkthrough
- Trade 21 crystals to any Conquest Overseer to unlock the mission then accept it from any Windurst Gate Guard.
- Talk to Tosuka-Porika in the Optistery Windurst Waters, North (G-8
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">) to receive the Optistery ring.
- Head to Toraimarai Canal, Map 2 (G-8
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">) and defeat the four Hinge Oils in the room
- You can Charm and Depop the Hinge Oils if you have BST leveled.
- tested at level 75 BST
- You can Depop the Hinge Oils if you train them to the zone.
- tested at level 75 SMN with Fenrir
- Quickest route: Quickest way to get there is to enter through Windurst Walls using the Rhinostery certificate, take a right at the bottom of the stairs, get into the water and keep turning left until you reach some stairs, which you should go up. From here, head South then East then North to reach the Slimes.
- While Horizon has 5 minute dungeon respawn timers, these NM's still only spawn every 16 minutes. - See patch notes.
- All four Hinge Oils must be defeated before you can enter The Animastery.
- You can Charm and Depop the Hinge Oils if you have BST leveled.

- After defeating the 4 Slimes, head northeast to the stairs at Toraimarai Canal, Map 2 (H-8
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">) and examine the Marble Door at the top.
- Examine the Tome of Magic lying on the ground to begin a cutscene.
- This is near the desk and a skull resting on a chair.
- There is a teleport outside one of the other doors that will take you to the bottom level of Heavens Tower
- Return to Tosuka-Porika Windurst Waters, North (G-8
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">) to complete the mission. You will receive the Book of the Gods.
