Walkthrough
- With your Main Job set to Dragoon, go to Northern San d'Oria (E-6
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">), outside the 2nd floor entrance to the Blacksmiths' guild.
- Talk to Miaux. In a cutscene, you'll learn she wants her father's old armor repaired, but needs you to get a
Altepa polishing stone for the repairs. - From this point on, this quest can be completed on any job.
- Travel to H-8 in Eastern Altepa Desert (H-8
- 5555FF; opacity:0.5;">). Find and examine the ??? to spawn the NM Decurio I-III. The ??? is on the top level near the ruins in the bottom right corner of the entrance to the Quicksand Caves.
- Defeat Decurio I-III and re-examine the ??? to obtain the Altepa polishing stone.
- You do not have to be on Dragoon to spawn Decurio I-III.
- If you are in a party, Decurio I-III need only be defeated once. All party members with the quest flagged may then obtain the key item.
- Take the Altepa polishing stone back to Miaux for your reward.
